THE MUDDY RIVER MARATHON

Community. Health. Fun.

Our 26.2 mile, 13.1 mile and half marathon relay courses, wind through Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The community and sponsor support results in an excellent race day experience for all participants.

The race's proceeds benefit local non-profits who improve the health and well-being of those who call Southeast Missouri home. Since the race's inception, over $65,000 has been donated to charities.

We believe that fitness equals happiness, and encourage our participants to challenge their bodies while maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

FIND YOUR STRIDE

Embrace the Race Theme

The Muddy River Marathon is more than just a race. It's a unifying event that deepens and strengthens the roots of our community.

It's a challenge. Not to each other, but to ourselves. A challenge to work towards a goal that we're not sure we're able to accomplish, but choose to believe we can. It's the knowledge that each hardship you face and overcome will test the strength of your mind and body to press on. It's solace in knowing that even though times may get tough, if you can will the drive and dedication within yourself to keep going... you will always Find Your Stride.
